Letting Go: How I Finally Stopped Obsessing over My Ex
Letting go of someone you loved is never easy. I’ve been there. For months, I couldn’t get my ex out of my head.
Everywhere I turned, she was on my mind. Whether it was a song, a place we went together, or even a random moment, I kept thinking about her.
It felt like I was stuck in a loop. If you’re going through this, I know how hard it is.
But eventually, I learned how to stop obsessing over her. It wasn’t fast, and it wasn’t easy, but I got there. And you can too.
The Beginning of the Obsession
After we broke up, I thought I was doing fine. I told myself it was for the best.
But deep down, I wasn’t okay. I kept looking at her social media. I would stare at old texts, trying to understand what went wrong.
Did she miss me too? Was she seeing someone new?
These thoughts wouldn’t leave me alone. They kept creeping in, and the more I let them, the more I obsessed. I wasn’t living in the present anymore. I was stuck in the past, thinking about what we used to have.
Why You Can’t Stop Thinking About Them
When a relationship ends, it can feel like a part of you is missing.
