The reality, though? It wasn’t anything like I expected. Looking back, I can see the mistakes, the regret, and all the things I ignored along the way.
Why I Left My Marriage for an Affair Partner
It’s easy to say, “I wasn’t happy.”
But honestly, it was more than that. I was restless, bored, even angry. And instead of working on my marriage, I blamed it. I thought my marriage was holding me back.
Then she came along. She was new, exciting, and she understood me — or at least I thought she did. We’d meet up, talk for hours, and it felt like we were on the same page in a way my wife and I weren’t anymore.
One night, after months of keeping it a secret, I made the decision to leave. I thought this new relationship would be my fresh start.
